What appearance/behavioral cues might Thrawn be able to pick up on?: Very calculating and very careful about his appearance.
What are some ways that are especially effective in manipulating your character?: Ba'al is pretty... on the ball when he's being manipulated. It's better to cut a deal with him rather than subtly manipulate him which would take more work. He does respond to offers he can't refuse that would gain power or money.
What is your character's taste in art, and what does that say about them?:
Modernish and abstract. He often just adopts the art of what ever culture he's taken a fancy to. In this case its 21st Century Earth. He likes simple and clean lines. A kind of organized chaos. All this says a great deal but mostly reflects his feelings toward Earth and his need for order and control. With himself in control, obviously.
Is there anything in particular you want him to figure out?:
Not in particular. He might catch on that Ba'al wants to be in control of everything ever.
Is there anything you do not want him to figure out? I'm iffy on figuring out he's an alien. It can happen and I might be willing to have him figure it out in the future if it comes up.
